Sports

Winter sports season has just wrapped up. What a relief! Although it was great that the kids were able to stay active doing things they enjoy, it was also pretty crazy for our family with three practices and/or games most days of the week. Conveniently, Covid didn't allow us to attend in person for the first half of the season, so we were able to watch from home (via Facebook live streaming) and skip some traveling.

Zac- JV Basketball

Zac started out the season with two injuries in a row, but he came back strong. He had a great time playing on a team with all of his closest friends. It was so fun to see how well they work together.

Sara- Wrestling

Sara surprised us all by giving up gymnastics for wrestling! (She still has a job coaching the younger kids at gymnastics.) Next school year there will be an official Girls Wrestling state tournament, but this year Sara got to wrestle both boys and girls. She learned a lot and had a great time. Spectator limits were stricter than at basketball and I only got to attend one in-person match.

(Sara dislikes both of these pictures; apparently she's not doing a winning move in either.)

Ezra- 7th Grade Basketball

Ezra had a great basketball season as the team captain. He learned a lot, made new friends, and they came out conference champions!

He made this one!
