Lloyd Forest

On the west side of our property, behind a row of fragrant lilac bushes,

we have a secret forest. 

 

Joziah likes to call it "Lloyd Forest." 

Actually, it's just the space between two rows of overgrown trees,

but it's kind of magical.

Last year when we cut down our massive tree, we rolled eight stumps into the forest.

Kory made a fire pit out of an old propane tank, and we plan to bury it in the ground.

Although that part isn't finished, 

we went ahead and roasted hot dogs out there last Saturday.

It felt like we had traveled to a special getaway.

We plan to make this a regular affair this summer!
