End of Year Roundup

We got into puzzles in December, and built a couple of neat ones!

New cat, named either Ash or Zeus, depending on who you ask.
Mostly we just call it "The Cat."
We got him and his brother, who only lasted 10 days in our care.
We have had TONS of snow this winter!
Ezra is almost as tall as Sara! They're 32 months apart :)
Joziah has a ways to go to catch Zane, who is second tallest in the family.

She sung in the choir and played in the Jazz and Concert bands.
We walled off the end of our living room to make an office.

Great to see all the updates. I need to update my blog, because i realize its so nice to see all of you and what you've been up to. I am on mikes computer, which is why its saying "unknown"...I didn't know Kory was a High Counselor, I wish i could hear him speak, I'm sure he's great! We have been into puzzles lately as well, it's so much fun to do as a family, but I get frustrated with Mike, because he does it all before i get around to it. ;)
Love you guys, everyone is getting so big!

Another sister-in-law challenge here, to post a favorite family recipe. I don't make this one all the time, but it is a true favorite of everyone here and my mom got rave reviews this Christmas when she took it to a dinner at the Boise ID Temple, where my dad works. We make it for special occasions. Sweet & Sour Chicken The following sauce will cover enough chicken to fill a 9 x 13" baking dish. You may choose whichever chicken type your family enjoys. Growing up, we used bone-in chicken pieces, but these days I like to take boneless skinless chicken breasts and cut them into strips. Sprinkle pieces of chicken with salt and pepper. Roll pieces in corn startch and then into beaten egg. Fry till golden brown, using high heat. (my Mom fries in oil, I just spray the fry pan) Put pieces of chicken into baking dish. Spring Concert

Hanna is really into music these days.  In the Filer High School Spring Concert, she... ...sang in the choir... ...played drums in the jazz band... ...played piano in the jazz band... ...and accompanied the choir. Hanna has a beautiful talent, and we always love when she shares it!

What's Been Happening

Zac as an usher at Stake Conference. Hanna accompanied a quartet at our stake Christmas program. She and I also sang in the choir. Zane, Zac and I helped sod 6 houses. It was cold, muddy, and SO fun! Zane drove us home- he's a pretty good driver! Ezra had pack meeting at the Glanbia Cheese Research Lab Joz and Braxton Dille after Literacy Night. Hanna was in the play Fairy Tale High.  She played the part of Goldilocks... ... and a girl in detention. She did awesome! Fun visit from the Halls, where the kids showed off cool moves... You can see Zane in the background being Faith's loyal servant.
