Congratulations to Zac!

This week Zac was awarded his Arrow of Light. He definitely worked hard to earn it. He even completed several requirements at home right after we moved and hadn't gotten started with the new pack yet. Zac is super excited to start into Boy Scouts this July. He's going to race Zane to Eagle!

This has nothing to do with Zachary, but I just had to post this lovely photo:

That's right, Kory installed a garbage disposal in our kitchen sink! Bless his pea-pickin heart (as my mom used to say). I am in love (with Kory and my new disposal)!

Zac is sadly going to lose, for Zane has had a head start and will be going to Camp Bradley.you have to wait between each rank and in that wait I will be merit badging.- Zane

I don't make this one all the time, but it is a true favorite of everyone here and my mom got rave reviews this Christmas when she took it to a dinner at the Boise ID Temple, where my dad works. We make it for special occasions. Sweet & Sour Chicken The following sauce will cover enough chicken to fill a 9 x 13" baking dish. You may choose whichever chicken type your family enjoys. Growing up, we used bone-in chicken pieces, but these days I like to take boneless skinless chicken breasts and cut them into strips. Sprinkle pieces of chicken with salt and pepper. Spring Concert

Hanna is really into music these days.  In the Filer High School Spring Concert, she... ...sang in the choir... ...played drums in the jazz band... ...played piano in the jazz band... ...and accompanied the choir. Hanna has a beautiful talent, and we always love when she shares it!

What's Been Happening

Zac as an usher at Stake Conference. Hanna accompanied a quartet at our stake Christmas program. She and I also sang in the choir. Zane, Zac and I helped sod 6 houses. It was cold, muddy, and SO fun! Zane drove us home- he's a pretty good driver! Ezra had pack meeting at the Glanbia Cheese Research Lab Joz and Braxton Dille after Literacy Night. Hanna was in the play Fairy Tale High.  She played the part of Goldilocks... ... and a girl in detention. She did awesome! Fun visit from the Halls, where the kids showed off cool moves... You can see Zane in the background being Faith's loyal servant.
