At last!

I don't know how many fishing trips Kory and the kids went on this summer, but it was quite a few. They never caught anything (other than Kory's Henry's Lake catch way back in May), but they kept at it and finally had success. In November! We all went waaaaaayyy out to the Filer ponds (maybe a 10 minute drive) and enjoyed a beautiful Fall evening out in nature. All of the kids caught a fish, with the exception of Hanna. She had one so close, but it slipped off her hook right at the bank and pretty soon we ran out of light.

I didn't get a still shot of Joziah, but I love this video of him getting his first fish (with, of course, lots of help from Kory). He was a little nervous, as you can tell, but he loved it. We did put his back, as it was a pretty little one. 

The best part, in my opinion, was that when we cooked the fish the next day they were delicious! And now we can stop going fishing- ha!
