The other day I couldn't find Joziah. I checked the upstairs bathroom (a favorite hangout) and he wasn't there, so headed downstairs. Here is what I found:
I guess Ezra left the Wii turned on and Joziah started his own Lego Star Wars game. I thought it was pretty cute. Boy, this picture really shows all the fingerprints on the TV!

It's obvious I virtually never update this anymore. I want to at least put our major life events on here, and this one is almost 6 months late! Walker Jesse Lloyd was born on April 23 at 10:41 in the morning. He weighed 8lbs 5oz and was 19.7 inches long. We all completely adore him!!

Christmas Concert

Z ac and Sara participated in their school's Christmas concert last week. Zac is in the 4th grade and wasn't very excited to be in the chorus of the play (he wanted to be in the audience) but he was a good sport. He wore the santa hat, sang, and even played the kazoo when the time came! S ara was beyond excited for the program! She participated with the 3rd grade in a song and light stick show and did well, but her favorite part was singing with the honor choir SunShine Singers. They meet once a week after school, and Sara loves every minute of it! W arning: I took this video with my old digital camera, while holding Joziah on my lap (who occasionally fought me for the camera), and the quality is terrible. Maybe just close your eyes. . . because the sound is pretty good. Sara is third from the left on the front row. She really sings out! B oth kids did well and I was proud of them. Sweet and Sour Chicken

Another sister-in-law challenge here, to post a favorite family recipe. I don't make this one all the time, but it is a true favorite of everyone here and my mom got rave reviews this Christmas when she took it to a dinner at the Boise ID Temple, where my dad works. We make it for special occasions. Sweet & Sour Chicken The following sauce will cover enough chicken to fill a 9 x 13" baking dish. You may choose whichever chicken type your family enjoys. Growing up, we used bone-in chicken pieces, but these days I like to take boneless skinless chicken breasts and cut them into strips. Sprinkle pieces of chicken with salt and pepper. Roll pieces in corn startch and then into beaten egg. Fry till golden brown, using high heat. (my Mom fries in oil, I just spray the fry pan) Put pieces of chicken into baking dish. Sauce: 3/4 cup sugar, half brown and half white 1/4 cup water or chicken stock 1/2 cup vinegar 1 Tablespoon soy sauce 1/4 cup ketchup dash of salt Heat until sugar i...
