4 Months Already

 I can't believe Joziah is four months old already! It sounds so cliché, but the time really has flown by. He is such a fun, happy little person, as you can see in these photos.
He kept sucking in his lower lip every time I tried to take a picture.
Each Lloyd baby has used this bouncer seat. It has served us well, although the vibrating feature died 2 kids ago.
Recently we took a little trip to Twin Falls to go through the college's corn maze. It was pretty adventurous for the kids, and afterward we dined at one of our favorite places- Rolbertos. It's a fairly authentic fast food-ish restaurant run by actual Hispanic people. They also provide American food for some of their kids' meals, so several our kids enjoyed chicken nuggets and fries.
They all decided to suck from their straws while I shot the picture.

Josiah looks so big already! When I first saw the picture I was just thinking in my mind Ezra, but then realized, no that is Joziah. Time really does fly and it was no time ago that Ezra was that size! We will have to go try out Rolberto's. That picture is so funny with them sucking on their straws.

That looks like a picture for the friend! or a coke commercial. Let me guess, everyones drinking root beer? :) haha..what a fun family time. Joziah is getting big, he sure looks happy.! love that that bouncer has lasted so well.

Christmas Concert

Z ac and Sara participated in their school's Christmas concert last week. Zac is in the 4th grade and wasn't very excited to be in the chorus of the play (he wanted to be in the audience) but he was a good sport. He wore the santa hat, sang, and even played the kazoo when the time came! S ara was beyond excited for the program! She participated with the 3rd grade in a song and light stick show and did well, but her favorite part was singing with the honor choir SunShine Singers. They meet once a week after school, and Sara loves every minute of it! W arning: I took this video with my old digital camera, while holding Joziah on my lap (who occasionally fought me for the camera), and the quality is terrible. Sweet and Sour Chicken

Another sister-in-law challenge here, to post a favorite family recipe. I don't make this one all the time, but it is a true favorite of everyone here and my mom got rave reviews this Christmas when she took it to a dinner at the Boise ID Temple, where my dad works. We make it for special occasions. Sweet & Sour Chicken The following sauce will cover enough chicken to fill a 9 x 13" baking dish. You may choose whichever chicken type your family enjoys. Growing up, we used bone-in chicken pieces, but these days I like to take boneless skinless chicken breasts and cut them into strips. Sprinkle pieces of chicken with salt and pepper. Roll pieces in corn startch and then into beaten egg. Fry till golden brown, using high heat. (my Mom fries in oil, I just spray the fry pan) Put pieces of chicken into baking dish. Sauce: 3/4 cup sugar, half brown and half white 1/4 cup water or chicken stock 1/2 cup vinegar 1 Tablespoon soy sauce 1/4 cup ketchup dash of salt Heat until sugar i...
