Just making sure...

I think the news has fairly well gotten around now that we are having another baby. But since I didn't make many personal announcements, some of you may have missed it. We're having a baby! The 6th little Lloyd, the child to complete our family, is due on June 12, although we won't expect him/her until more like the 19th.

I went through a month or so of pretty miserable morning sickness, although I almost never threw up, which was nice. I just felt like I'd eaten way too much candy every minute of every day. And I was so exhausted it was all I could do to pry myself off the couch. Thankfully, I've gotten over the worst of it and am looking forward to the next few painless months of pregnancy :)

Congratulations! That is great! We had no idea! I'm glad that you are feeling better now. That first part if always hard when you are soo tired and sick! We are so looking forward to a new little cousin! Hooray! Love ya!

Wow, it's amazing how much you miss when you don't live close to family... :) Congrats! 6 is a good number; I'm rooting for another girl, so you'll have 3 of each! It would also be super cool if he/she is born on mom and I's birthday! Glad to hear the worst is over. I've felt sick like that too with these pills I'm taking, but no fun pregnancy to look forward to...yet! At least we know the problem now. I'm very hopeful.

Congrats!!! That's great news! I don't know how you do it Heather. Pregnant with five kids running around. You're my hero! Hope pregnancy is smooth sailing from here.

You stinker...hearing me complain about my m.s. while you were going through the same thing!! haha...that's so exciting!! It will be fun having babies close in age again, this time only about a month!! So glad your feeling better, you are a trooper.

Christmas Concert

Z ac and Sara participated in their school's Christmas concert last week. Zac is in the 4th grade and wasn't very excited to be in the chorus of the play (he wanted to be in the audience) but he was a good sport. He wore the santa hat, sang, and even played the kazoo when the time came! S ara was beyond excited for the program! She participated with the 3rd grade in a song and light stick show and did well, but her favorite part was singing with the honor choir SunShine Singers. They meet once a week after school, and Sara loves every minute of it! W arning: I took this video with my old digital camera, while holding Joziah on my lap (who occasionally fought me for the camera), and the quality is terrible. Sweet and Sour Chicken

Another sister-in-law challenge here, to post a favorite family recipe. I don't make this one all the time, but it is a true favorite of everyone here and my mom got rave reviews this Christmas when she took it to a dinner at the Boise ID Temple, where my dad works. We make it for special occasions. Sweet & Sour Chicken The following sauce will cover enough chicken to fill a 9 x 13" baking dish. You may choose whichever chicken type your family enjoys. Growing up, we used bone-in chicken pieces, but these days I like to take boneless skinless chicken breasts and cut them into strips. Sprinkle pieces of chicken with salt and pepper. Roll pieces in corn startch and then into beaten egg. Fry till golden brown, using high heat. (my Mom fries in oil, I just spray the fry pan) Put pieces of chicken into baking dish. Sauce: 3/4 cup sugar, half brown and half white 1/4 cup water or chicken stock 1/2 cup vinegar 1 Tablespoon soy sauce 1/4 cup ketchup dash of salt Heat until sugar i...
