Zac tried out for the basketball team this year, and beat out a bunch of other boys to win a spot on the team. He's been working on basketball dilligently for a long time, and his hard work paid off.  It's been a great experience so far: the coaches are great and the team is a pretty good group of boys. They're winning most games, and showing great sportsmanship when they lose.

Every year all the local Jensen grandkids (we miss you, Shaws!)  enjoy a "Grand Party" with their Grandma and Grandpa Jensen.  It's an overnighter chock full of pizza, games, candy,  and sleeping bags strewn everywhere (and not much sleep)!  Here are my kids' candy creations: "zombie christmas" The next day was the funeral for my grandpa, Gerald Hurst.  Here are my two favorite pictures of the occasion: Isla and Joslyn just love their Zane these days. It was touching to see these men as casket bearers.  Cousins I remember as boys, now all grown up and dignified.  And, of course, Kory, Mike and Rich. Great men!

The last time Lily was here, she and Sara spent hours on a photo shoot  for their special friends Babs and Slush, and their baby Lily.  Here are the beautiful fruits of their labors:
