Busy Fall

Image
Hanna went out on her first date dance!  As the picture shows, it was a fun group of seven couples.  Hanna's date is Dougie; he's a really good kid  and we are excited that he is taking the missionary lessons right now ! Zac had an awards dinner for Cross Country,  where he the Top Seventh Grade Runner award! It's been so great to have him run with a group of really great boys. We went to Tubbs Berry Farm straw maze one evening.  Lots of fun was had by all and he had a pure junk food dinner:  doughnuts, cookies, apples with caramel dip, and hot chocolate! Our oldest cousin/nephew Bryan left on a mission to Lisbon Portugal! We attended his "farewell" and then had a party. Ezra is really going to miss his best buddy. Here is a monster assignment Ezra did in school. Pretty frightening!

Cross Country

For a couple years, Zac has planned to join the cross country team. He's finally in middle school, and loving being on the team! He almost always beats the other 7th graders from Filer, and improves his PR steadily. He also has a really great attitude, no matter the outcome.

Another Year Older (And Wiser, Too?)

Zane is now  15 years old.                      The highlight of his big day was that he got a pretty great .22.  I think we surprised him! He also got other fun gifts, like a bike, food and money! As is tradition, he requested a devils food cake with chocolate frosting. This year, he wanted Milky Way candy bars on top. His birthday breakfast was peach bars, and steak was for dinner. Zane is a very smart and strong teenager.  He's loving with our pets, and so sweet to his littlest cousins. We don't know what we'd do without you, Zane! Happy Birthday!
