Swimmy Summer

Image
One of the absolute BEST parts of summer is swimming! (Right?) In June, Joziah, Ezra and Sara took swim lessons at the Filer City Pool. They do a really good job at Filer, and the kids learned tons! Several of their teachers are in our ward, which was nice. Ezra in a "horse race" Joziah Sara Ezra Sara and friend Rebecca. Joziah Then, in the end of June we got our own 18-foot pool! It's surprisingly fun, and super refreshing on a hot summer day! We're having a tricky time figuring out how to keep the chemicals balanced, and preventing algae, but we'll get it.

Sara's 11th Birthday

Sara Turned 11! I can hardly believe it. Only one more year in Primary! Sara's birthday menu: Breakfast: glazed doughnuts and turkey bacon Dinner: Frozen burritos, dill pickle chips, Snicker salad Treat: French Vanilla cake covered in fondant & Black Raspberry Chip ice cream Sara decorated the cake herself! She was lucky enough to have two sets of cousins  and one set of grandparents over for her big day. She and Lexi look enough alike to be sisters! Some of her gifts were jewelry, walkie-talkies, doll clothes,  Shopkins, cash, a volleyball, and a coconut! We love you so much, Sara!!! Hope you have a wonderful year!

And Then There Were Three. . . Teenagers

Zac turned 13!!! His birthday food requests were: Breakfast: Peach Bars Dinner: Papa Murphy's Pizza Treat: Peanut Butter Fudge cake and Caramel Toffee Crunch ice cream Usually I (Heather) do all the gift shopping, but Kory took over this time. He got Zac a nice pellet gun, a hunting knife, and a tackle box. Zac has always been a very pleasant guy (as a baby his nickname was "happy baby.") He continues to be the same;  he sincerely wants to make good choices and be a peacemaker. He has a great sense of humor and is a pleasure to be around!
