T his week Hanna had her birthday, one of the big ones, lucky 13 !! We are so excited to have an official teenager in the family! H anna chose Cap'N Crunch for her breakfast, and Nachos for her special dinner. Her birthday cake was angel food, topped with strawberries and whipped cream. See this picture? H anna was holding her cake while we sang "Happy Birthday." Then she bent over to blow out her candles. That's when her hair dangled over the flame and completely caught on fire ! There were flames racing all up the right side of her head and I jumped over and started smothering it with my hand. I'm sure someone else stepped in to help, but I'm not sure because things happened so quickly. The smell of singed hair was in the air, but oddly you can't tell any damage was done. She was very blessed. In retrospect, the incident is kind of hilarious and I wish someone had caught it on video! I t was a good birthday. Hanna enjoyed having family over, inc...

O ur boys' Sunday morning activity: they built animals out of bristle blocks, including the elk pictured, and took turns shooting it.  

F irst up, I found some pictures from last fall that I missed because they'd been taken on Kory's phone. Here is sweet Sara, on a Kiwi Loco date with her dad. T he Lloyd kids having fun with Lawrence kids. I have NO IDEA what was going on here, and is that a tail on Ezra?? N ow to the present. Over Spring Break Kory and my dad performed a tiny bit of tree trimming. It's such a relief to have those big guys out of the way! They dropped a million leaves every fall, and sticks were always littering the yard. K ory keeps a motorcycle out in Almo. We went there the day before Easter and enjoyed some great times with the family. I wish I had taken more pictures! Here is one of me, just to prove I exist. Ha!   K ory, Zane, Zac and Sara rode their bikes from our house, down into Rock Creek Canyon, and back.  T a-da- we got a "new" motorhome!
