Two down, two to go!

Image
I t's PARTY WEEK in the Lloyd home- four of us celebrate our birthdays within 8 days (and our wedding anniversary is thrown in there too!) M y birthday was the 15th. It was a pretty regular "mom day" but at the end I enjoyed my Strawberry-Lemon Trifle and even some fun gifts. One of my best gifts, though, was that my braces were removed two days prior. This candid shot shows off my new smile: I'm loving the new look and I am really loving being able to eat whatever I want! T he 20th was Zachary's birthday. He saw a robot cake he liked online (familyfun.com) and we had a fun time creating our own based on their design: Z ac started his big day off with donuts and yogurt. He played Wii and watched some Phineas and Ferb. (Which, as a side note, I truly think is a hilarious show!) He spent the afternoon playing with friends, then dinner of Nachos preceded the party. As this photo shows, he was very serious opening his packages. Not that he was ungrateful or anyth...

Memorial Day, etc.

O kay, this year we again did not make it to the cemetery on Memorial Day. We were waiting for nicer weather; finally we got it! I guess we don't all fit on the bench anymore. S peaking of warm weather, we finally bought our annual kiddie pool, and the kids are in it almost every day! Hanna the bathing beauty! Just the right size pool for Sara and Ezra. Zane likes to stay underwater for frightening lengths of time. Zac jumping in! Here I am introducing Joziah to the "big" pool. . . . . . but I think he prefers his little one :)     A nd last. . . Sara I hope you'll forgive me for posting this picture. But you're JUST SO CUTE!!! C an you tell Sara did NOT want to get her hair cut? She was like this the whole time, but came out with a really cute bob (you can see it in the cemetery picture)!
