Well, here it is Halloween Day and most of the festivities are over for us. The 29th saw us at the ward's Trunk or Treat activity, then on the 30th we partied at our homeschool group's carnival . Kory and I have had our fill of Halloween! We will do a low-key family party tonight, including pizza, donuts, apple juice, and Escape to Witch Mountain (okay, it's not a Halloween movie, but with the word "witch" in the title we went for it.) Here are our little goblins: Bat Baby Ezra Fairy Princess Sara Indian Zachary Pirate Zane Hula Dancer Hanna

Where did all THIS come from?

October 17th we enjoyed our first few flakes of snow for the winter. The next day a storm moved in and parked over our area, dumping over 15 inches of snow on us! The kids were ecstatic; the adults somewhat less so. During the storm we holed up in our house to watch a movie and eat some pizza and pre-Halloween candy. Then we broke out thethermals, snow pants, coats, boots, hats, gloves and mittens, scarves, and who-knows-what-else, and enjoyed all the white stuff!

Big day for a little guy!

Our littlest guy, Ezra, delighted us this afternoon when he actually crawled for the first time! I figured this was a good excuse to finally start a blog. Ezra has been pushing himself around backwards for about a month, so we knew the big event was coming, but at just seven months he's our earliest crawler by far! Right now he's using his new skill to search out tasty edibles on the floor like tiny paper scraps. I can see the future right now and it involves me using the vacuum a whole lot more!
